Bayview is situated in the most beautiful spot on the Uists with the beach and ocean on your doorstep and the mountains making a wonderful backdrop. Situated away from it all, yet only a few minutes drive from Balivanich where there are 2 supermarkets, post office, bank, hospital, garage, Macgillivary’s store, Low Flyer pub and takeaway and the Stepping Stones restaurant.
Bayview being centrally located is in the ideal location for exploring North or Sout Uist, Benbecula, Eriskay and Barra. In the summertime music festivals in Barra are a truly memorable experience. The airport in Balivanich is only a few minutes’ drive away.
From Uig to Loch Maddy is one and three quarters hour ferry ride. Oban to Loch Boisdale 7 hrs ferry ride.
Bayview is approximately 30 minutes’ drive from Loch Maddy just outside Balivanich, Benbecula and just past Nunton Steadings.
At the moment we stay in Uig, Isle of Skye where our B&B is available at Orasay, next to the ferry terminal or if you require a 2 part holiday 1 week on the Uists and 1 week or a few days on Skye, we also have large six berth static holiday homes.
